Water Activities

Silver Lake is located on its own private 96-acre lake with endless options to cool off on a hot summer's day. Jump in the water and take a swim or enjoy the trampoline, blob, iceberg, slide, and 10 foot diving tower. If you're more into boating, explore the lake in a kayak, canoe, paddle boat, surfbike, or rowboat. Our lake is stocked with bass, perch, and sunnies for those of you that enjoy fishing. The waterfront has a little bit of everything for everyone.

Silver Lake has its own heated swimming pool with lights for night swimming. Campers work through the American Red Cross swim levels at the pool with certified Water Safety Instructors. After their lessons, campers enjoy water sports such as water polo, water aerobics, synchronized swimming, and water basketball. They can also choose to slide down the waterslide or swim laps for the Silver Lake lap club. Our campers take pride in participating in our yearly swim-a-thon to raise money to send underprivileged kids to Morry's camp and they also like to take advantage of the lifeguard certification courses that we offer our oldest campers.

As an elective, campers get the opportunity to learn how to sail, waterski, tube, knee board, or wakeboard. We have campers who have loved these electives so much that they are now our instructors!
